- Loft conversion — completion certificate (If available!)
- Lighting (Only LED and CFL lamps are low energy lighting) Halogen bulbs are not low energy
- Wall insulation - cavity insulation certificate required when there are no visible signs of insulation -
- Internal/external insulation must be confirmed by documentary evidence or visual evidence.
- Solar PV installations — MCS certificate required (If available!)
- The Certificates will also give the properties an 'Environmental Impact' rating by indicating its carbon dioxide emissions.
- There will also be a list of cost-effective actions to improve the building's rating.
- The potential rating is based on all the recommendations being implemented.
